03 Dec Winter time Fishing
Well that time of year is here once again, Winter! The tides have dropped and so has the temperature, including the water temperature, brining in some great winter time fishing. Redfish, Snook, and trout have been hanging out in the sand holes scattered along the grassy flats as well as on the deep water, just outside of sandbars and oyster bars feeding on just about anything that crosses their path on both the incoming and outgoing Charlotte harbor tides.. We’ve been catching some great quality fish on shrimp under a cork, free-line pinfish, and also soft plastics. Many belive the fishing slows down in the winter, what many do not know, is its the exact opposite! Come find out for yourself and experience the cool breeze and bent rods!
